This would allow clips to have their masking and color parameters preset and retain these when they are dragged to the mixer layer, but still not trigger full opacity immediately. It would be really nice to be able to lock the opacity/transparency slide independently. It rather stays to whatever that layer was set to. When locked, the parameters of a panel don't get copied from the cell when they are triggered. > Seems like you need to tick the lock icon in the mixing panel. I'm running under Vista 32 bit Business SP2 on a Thinkpad T61 with an Intel T9300 4GB RAM and an internalh discrete graphics card. Please consider offering an option that prevents a layer from going to full opacity automatically when a new clip is dragged to it. In general the interface feels faster and more responsive. Twirl feedback seems to white out the screen almost immediately. Seems to me the lower layer should remain obscured since the next layer up is at full opacity.Р”В¤. When the master A-B fader at the bottom of the screen is moved from B to A, the lower of the two B layers becomes visible about halfway between A & B. Consider the condition when two layers are set to B with both layers at maximum opacity, and all other layers set to A at minimum opacity.

The white lettering on top of the gray bars in the upper right corner is unreadable when the interface is set to black on my screen.Р”Р€. So some minor issues which is to be expected from a beta, but otherwise I really like the changes you guys made.Р”В«TW, I'm testing this on my Windows 7 system, I haven't tried 1.2 Beta on my XP system yet so I'm not sure if the problems I described are Vista/7 related. Twirl Feedback effect is broken, just gives you either a white or black image.

You still have mouse control within the program, just no visual previews. When you activate fullscreen mode with the new windowed output without a second monitor attached you lose all video in GrandVJ. The layer preview works fine, but it doesn't show up in the master out. I'm having a strange problem where I cant see anything in my master preview on Layer 1 in mixer mode. It seems like you have to almost max out the master brightness and contrast sliders compared to 1.1 The first thing I noticed about 1.2 Beta was output brightness & contrast. I couldn't find a thread already created for this topic, so I figured I'd start one and post my findings.
